Privacy and Policy
Baiotek (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides AI-powered diagnostic technology, white-label urine strips, software tools, and data processing services for wellness brands, clinics, and other commercial partners (“Partners”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when Partners and their end users (“Users”) interact with our Services. By accessing our Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Scope of This Privacy Policy
This policy applies to:
- Baiotek’s software, AI engines, APIs, white-label solutions, and dashboards
- Websites operated under the Baiotek brand
- Data processed through our AI models when scanning biomarker strips
- Communication with Partners
This policy does not apply to how Partners handle data on their own platforms or systems.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in two categories:
A) Partner Information (B2B Data)
Collected when a company contacts us, signs up, or integrates our services.
This may include:
- Company name
- Contact name and role
- Email address
- Phone number
- Technical integration data
- Usage statistics of the Baiotek platform
- Billing and payment data
This information is used strictly for business operations, communication, and support.
B) End User Scan Data (Technical / Biomarker Information)
When Users scan a Baiotek-compatible strip through a Partner’s app or interface, we may process:
- Color and pixel data from the strip
- Biomarker interpretation results (e.g., hydration, pH, oxidative stress, etc.)
- Device model and technical metadata (for calibration and accuracy)
- Timestamp of the scan
Important:
We do not collect names, emails, or personally identifiable information unless explicitly provided through the Partner's system.
We process only what is required to interpret the strip and deliver results.
3. How We Use the Information
We use collected data to:
- Process strip scans using AI models
- Provide accurate biomarker interpretations
- Improve model performance and accuracy
- Support Partners in using Baiotek technology
- Ensure system reliability and security
- Provide anonymized insights or analytics to Partners
We never use personal identifiable User data for advertising, reselling, profiling, or unrelated purposes.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
Depending on jurisdiction, Baiotek may rely on:
- Contractual necessity (to provide services to Partners)
- Legitimate interest (to improve and secure our technology)
- Consent (when required and obtained by the Partner from its Users)
Partners are responsible for ensuring end users have been properly informed and have provided required permissions.
5. Data Ownership & Responsibilities
- Partners own their user relationships and personal data.
- Baiotek only processes data on behalf of Partners to provide the agreed services.
- Baiotek does not claim ownership of any User data.
User biomarker data is anonymized and aggregated for internal model improvement unless otherwise required by a Partner agreement.
6. Data Sharing
Baiotek does not sell or share user-identifiable data.
Data may be shared only in the following cases:
- With the Partner who generated the data (depending on integration)
- With service providers who assist in hosting or processing (under NDA)
- As required to comply with legal obligations
- To prevent fraud, abuse, or security threats
All third parties are required to comply with strict confidentiality and security standards.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect all processed data, including:
- Encryption of data in transit and at rest
- Secure cloud infrastructure
- Access control and authentication
- Regular audits and monitoring
- Model integrity and calibration checks
No system is 100% secure, but Baiotek applies strong safeguards to minimize risk.
8. Data Retention
We retain data only as long as necessary for:
- Providing the services
- Improving model accuracy
- Fulfilling legal or contractual obligations
Partners may request deletion of their data in accordance with their agreements and local regulations.
9. International Data Transfers
Depending on your location, data may be processed in countries with different data protection laws. We ensure all transfers comply with applicable standards such as GDPR, including contractual protections where required.
10. End User Rights
End users may have rights depending on their region, including:
- Access to their data
- Correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion of data
- Limiting or objecting to processing
- Data portability
Because Baiotek operates as a processor, Users should direct requests to the Partner who collects their personal information.
Baiotek will assist Partners in fulfilling legitimate requests.
11. Cookies & Tracking
Our website may use cookies or analytics tools to improve performance and understand visitor behavior. These do not track biomarker data or personal health details.
12. Children’s Privacy
Baiotek does not knowingly process data from children under the minimum legal age in their jurisdiction. Partners are responsible for ensuring age-appropriate use of their applications.
